Ear Acupuncture or Ear Seeds by Oren "Ren" Pilinger ,LicAc
During an acupuncture treatment, acupuncturists often add points on the outer ear, also known as the "auricle." Supporting health by stimulating points on the outer ear is also called "auriculotherapy."Why the ear? There's a point for every part of the body, just in the ear! Auricular points include inner organs and different parts of the brain. There are also "functional" points, such as points for insomnia, high blood pressure, and appetite.
We can stimulate these points using tiny acupuncture needles, or using non-insertive tools like vaccaria seeds or metal beads. Come get pins or seeds (your choice) to cultivate relaxation and well-being.
About Ren:
Oren "Ren" Pilinger is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who has worked in community acupuncture clinics around Massachusetts since 2016 and co-founded Boston Acupuncture Project in 2018.
