Please join us on the grounds of The Meeting Point for a fabulous and FREE offering of workshops, services, crafts & snacks!

Please note that masks will be required to enter The Meeting Point building and access any services offered inside. We will have masks available if you need one!

We will have flyers posted inside/outside The Meeting Point with a QR code that will direct you to this page, so that you can use this as a guide while visiting the Fair.

  • *This workshop runs at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and consists of a 30 minute presentation and 15 minute Q&A.

    Brian Chen, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, cert. DN

    Description:

    Why does pain become chronic? How does movement affect the body? What are ergonomics? Please join a physical therapist in learning about the complex science of chronic pain, and how physical therapy-based interventions can help in management of these conditions.

    About Brian:

    Brian (he/him) is a physical therapist with a board-certified specialization in orthopedics. Based in the Greater Boston area, he has worked at MGH and Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital. As a proud BIPOC individual, he is passionate about utilizing physical therapy to support and uplift underserved groups.

    AJ Guerrero, LMHC

    Description:

    Guided Meditation for Beginners
    Facilitated by AJ Guerrero, LMHC

    In this 30 minute workshop, AJ will conduct a journaling enrichment activity, provide information about meditation, and lead a guided meditation.


    About AJ:

    I am AJ Guerrero, a licensed therapist with over 7 years of experience dedicated to building authentic connections with my clients. I've served as a community based clinician in Justice Resource Institute, with a specialized role to work with LGBTQ+ families and youth of color, as an LGBTQ+ Director at Wellesley College and as a clinical intern at the Wheelock College Counseling Center in supporting college students. I am a butch lesbian, Filipina immigrant, Neurodivergent woman who uses she/her pronouns. Outside of the practice, I am a mama to three adorable cats, cook with my partner and friends, and stay involved with my local women's motorcycle group in volunteering and leading pride parades.

    AJ Guerrero, LMHC

    Description:
    In this 30 minute workshop, Jasper Pockets (AJ’s biker name) will share stories of Bikers 4 Babies emergency response and queer ancestral lineage in her experience of community care being part of a motorcycle club.

    About AJ:

    Zev Colsen, CPM

    Description:

    This workshop will provide education and resources for folks who are interested in learning about assisted conception. This workshop is meant to demystify the process and return the power to q/t families. Topics will include conception methods, gamete sources, health education around fertility tracking, ethical considerations, gender feels, and limited information on advanced reproductive technology, adoption, and fostering.

    About Zev:

    I'm Zev Colsen, (they | them), a nonbinary, Certified Professional Midwife. I offer fertility and conception care, prenatal care, homebirth, postpartum care, well-person care, and cesarean scar massage. I recently joined The Meeting Point and I'm thrilled to be connecting with community.

    Lake and K Lenor

    Description:

    Curious about exploring your edges in scenes and not sure how? Have you stumbled into edge play unintentionally and want more skills on how to navigate those spaces? Join us as we discuss the hows and whys of edge play, building scenes, risk assessment, trauma, failed scenes and more.

    About Lake and K Lenor:

    K is a non binary artist, tattooer and founding member of @Fist_boston They have 15 years in the Boston BDSM scene and are the author of the blog Surviving in Leather:BDSM relationship and living with trauma on your own terms.

    Lake is a trans non binary pervert and sadist with over 6 years in the Boston queer kink scene. Lake is a trauma therapist, community organizer, and founding member of Fist Boston and an excellent cook.

    Molly Robson, LICSW


    Emma D’Arpino, MS-HPEd, RD, LDN

    Description:

    Navigating the everyday can be a challenge when you’re fat — luckily, you’re not alone. Come and join Emma and Molly to process these challenges together and gain some community!

    About Molly and Emma:

    Molly Robson, LICSW, is a fat queer therapist at TMP who specializes in body liberation, the intersection of gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia, and eating disorders.

    Emma D’Arpino, MS-HPEd, RD, LDN, is a queer, fat positive, non-diet dietitian who is passionate about dismantling fatphobia and promoting change towards safe, ethical healthcare for all bodies.

    Emma and Molly run an ongoing weekly drop-in body image support group, going strong since October 2022!

    Karen Enegess, LMHC

    Description:

    Many people are understandably experiencing stress and unease in this current political climate. While the nervous system is just doing its job in reacting to current events, the results of that can leave us feeling anxious or hopeless. By cultivating a greater sense of inner stability, we'll be better able to take effective action when we need or want to.

    About Karen:

    Karen has been a psychotherapist for over 25 years, and maintains personal practices in Mindfulness and yoga that inform her work. She is interested in exploring the intersections of spirituality, the body, identity, and psychology, and the complexity of being a human on this wild planet.

    Dandelion (Talia Rose & Heather Scott)

    Description:

    Dandelion writes songs for the inner child and the literal child. They’ve been performing around New England in libraries and museums for the past year.

    About Dandelion:

    With over two decades of performing under their belts, Heather and Talia have performed as solo artists and as part of acclaimed projects. Heather Scott’s songwriting draws on their roots in the Southeast as well as a wealth of experience as an early childhood music educator. Multi-instrumentalist Talia Rose has performed on countless stages – from Club Passim in Boston to The Kofferfabrik in Nuremberg!

    Members of the Boston Dyke March will be offering information as well as selling stickers and buttons to support Boston Dyke March.

    For 30 years Boston Dyke March has believed in creating a space for anti-capitalist, intersectional, gender liberation and welcomes all who feel the same. The March is a grassroots alternative Pride event that is Mask Required, ASL interpreted, wheelchair, stroller, and scooter accessible with an accessibility vehicle is available for those who need a ride for some or all of the March.

    Description:

    The Boston People’s Response Campaign (BPR) formerly the Mental Health Crisis Response will be providing information and education about this service in Boston.

    About BPR:

    The Boston People’s Response Campaign (BPR) formerly the Mental Health Crisis Response Campaign (MHCR) is a Boston based organizing initiative launched by The City School, Boston Liberation Health and the Unnamed Youth Organizing Network focused on ensuring the development, implementation and community oversight of a free, consent-based, non-police, non-carceral, community-based mental health crisis response

    Description: I will be selling cyanotypes, block prints, and oil pastel prints. Also sharing about my local art/embodiment workshops and 1:1 somatic coaching services.

    Em Tebbetts

    About Em Tebbetts:

    Em Tebbetts (they/them), also known as Emily is Making, is a queer process-based artist, somatic coach and embodiment facilitator living in JP.

    They facilitate local workshops, gatherings, and groups centering embodiment, creative self-expression, nature, community, and liberation. They offer Somatic Tarot Integration sessions, 1:1 creative and somatic coaching, and can often be found vending with their heart -centered cyanotypes, block prints, and oil pastels.

    IMPACT BOSTON will be providing information about self-defense classes and safety.

    About IMPACT BOSTON:

    At IMPACT we believe everyone has the right to be safe and the ability to protect themselves. Our self-defense programs give people the skills to stay calm and focused in unsafe situations. Our abuse prevention programs give schools, disability service organizations, and communities the tools to develop policies and expectations that keep everyone safe.

    IMPACT classes offer supportive spaces for women, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, kids and teens of all genders, women of color, survivors of abuse and trauma, and more.

    Lumen Midwifery

    About Lumen Midwifery:

    Client centered reproductive care for everyBODY. Offering full scope midwifery care throughout the reproductive lifecycle. Explore a variety of care options including home insemination, comprehensive homebirth care, postpartum care, and well-person care. Lumen’s services are designed to maximize access to the midwifery model in a responsive and connected environment.

    Description:

    Queer Body Collective will be offering short donation based ($10-20) chair massages and free self massage resources for after gender affirming surgery.

    About the Queer Body Collective:

    Queer Body Collective is a Cambridge-based practice which focuses on queer and trans clients, making massage, energy healing, and body work accessible to people in marginalized communities, and to build trust with our bodies.

    We focus on queer and trans clients and welcome all bodies who are marginalized by the systems of oppression we live under. We regularly work with folks who are BIPOC, disabled, chronically ill/pain, fat, trans. Queer Body Collective is a radical practice committed to building new systems of community care to heal our bodies so that we can all keep building a better future.

    Description: THRIVE will be offering safer sex supplies to give out, educational pamphlets, a spinning wheel with sex ed trivia questions.

    The THRIVE Clinic at Harbor Health - Open to the Community

    About THRIVE:

    We are the THRIVE Clinic at Harbor Health Services Inc. We provide free and confidential rapid HIV testing and sexual health education. The THRIVE clinic’s mission is to help everyone feel welcome, comfortable, safe, and supported in asking for HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health information, services, and supplies.

    Warm Up Boston will be providing information and have merch for donation.

    About Warm Up Boston:

    Warm Up Boston, is a radical survival program serving, supporting, and empowering Boston’s unhoused community through solidarity rather than charity. Our mission focuses on the direct delivery of material aid and advocacy as well as on harm reduction strategies designed to prevent deaths from overdoses and transmission of infectious disease among people who use drugs and the larger community.

    About Wombat Wisdoms:

    Hi, I’m Hania (she/her)! I am an artist, educator and social science researcher. My art weaves together the wisdom of youth, of social justice movements and of the natural world. I am a formally trained social scientist and critical participatory action researcher, a community nurtured educator activist, and a nature- and child-inspired artist. I imagine, dream, create and educate on Squaxin, Nisqually, Coast Salish, Cowlitz & Massachusett land.
