I believe that each person's therapuetic journey is unique. As a relational and practical therapist, I offer a thoughtful partnership that meets you where you are, provides supportive feedback and guidance to find resolve to your current problems and long-standing patterns that interfer with your core confident self. With sensitivity and compassion, I will help you sort through and find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and emotional discomfort.
Seeking support and guidance from a therapist is a brave act, yet a very vulnerable process. I will be thoughtful of your unique needs, working with you, to create what works best for you and together adapt as needed. Blending conventional and alternatives approaches, I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each person.

Together we will build on your strengths, finding effective ways to achieve your goals, and discover how to sustain your progress even during stressful times. My focus is to understand you, your needs, and to provide a space for all of the parts of your "self,"and to create a space for you to feel safe, open to share and explore, while also being heard.

If you are seeking support with your partner or family, I will work with each of you to explore what is creating the tensions and how to best resolve the conflict and rebuild connection. In couples therapy, whether for married couples or those in committed relationships, they learn how to truly listen and hear one another, better understand the other's need, and what works best in negotiating each person's needs when they may conflict or not have the ability to be met by the partner.

How to develop and sustain connection is a vital focus. Members of the couple or family, often rediscover the other in a more compassionate way, working to reduce the intensity of disconnection, developing safe ways of understanding each other, communicating one's needs, and preserving the strength of their relationship even in the midst of life's complexities.

MEETING POINT MISSION

We are a collaboration of bodyworkers and mental health practitioners. We create safe and inclusive spaces. We promote healing, growth, and empowerment. We provide access to education, connection, and therapeutic support for clients, colleagues, and community members.

The Meeting Point is a group of independent licensed health professionals. This group is an association of independently practicing professionals which shares certain expenses and administrative functions. While the members share a name and office space, each practitioner is completely independent in providing you with clinical services and each alone is fully responsible for those services. Each practitioner's professional records are separately maintained and no member of the group can have access to them without your specific, written permission.
