About The Meeting Point
  • The Meeting Point is a collaboration of independent body workers and mental health practitioners. We create an ever evolving multi-dimensional resource for growth and healing.
  • We offer individual, couples, relationship, group and family services. We also offer workshops and consultation.
  • We offer therapy that supports your sense of self, your growth and your healing through connection and relationship with an awareness of the culture, community and social consciousness contexts that inform your experience in the world.
  • Some of our areas of specialty include working with people who have experienced trauma, disability, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and life transition.
  • We also provide services specific to the needs of gay, lesbian, transgender people and address the needs of alternative relationship and family structures.
  • The Meeting Point offers services alert to the distinct needs and strengths of every person. Our trainings and workshops are offered to perpetuate insight into and cultivate opportunities for change.
  • In addition to psychotherapy services we offer body work, therapeutic and relaxation massage that combines elements of traditional swedish, myofascial release, muscular therapy, deep tissue, and cranio-sacral therapy. We offer infant massage, and education about self-care. Our body work is trauma and gender identity informed.

The Meeting Point presents

Featured Artist Ashley Lucas
Art by Tam Willey and Ayisha Knight-Shaw

ASHLEY

Ashley developed a true love and appreciation for the intricacies of design work during her time in Bose Corporation's Creative department. This love for intricate design and attention to detail becomes apparent in much of Ashley's work but is most evident in her bold, small-scale, drawings.  Through the use of abstract forms Ashley aims to have the viewer carefully examine and explore the different components of the overall image and create their own paths and stories as they follow the lines, shapes and colors throughout the drawing.

Ashley invites you to explore the images yourself and use your imagination and inquisition to discover new relationships that others may have yet to discover themselves.

TAM

Tam Willey uses watercolors, pen and ink, and a stream of consciousness to play with the relationship between the mind and expression by way of whimsical head profiles inspired by outsider subculture from the inside out.

MEETING POINT MISSION

We are a collaboration of bodyworkers and mental health practitioners. We create safe and inclusive spaces. We promote healing, growth, and empowerment. We provide access to education, connection, and therapeutic support for clients, colleagues, and community members.

The Meeting Point is a group of independent licensed health professionals. This group is an association of independently practicing professionals which shares certain expenses and administrative functions. While the members share a name and office space, each practitioner is completely independent in providing you with clinical services and each alone is fully responsible for those services. Each practitioner's professional records are separately maintained and no member of the group can have access to them without your specific, written permission.
